About me

I’ve been drawn to medicine for as long as I can remember. And in truth, traditional medicine has always been in my blood. My Korean grandmother practiced herbalism, and I grew up with acupuncture and herbs as a routine part of life. It wasn’t until much later, though, that I realized just how powerful this medicine really is and how much I wanted to devote my life to it.

Before pursuing my degree, I worked in the fast-paced world of Silicon Valley. It was exciting, but I found myself craving something more grounded, more human, and more deeply connected to my roots. That’s when I made the leap into Chinese medicine—a decision that felt less like a career change and more like coming home.

In my practice, I combine different modalities to help people heal—whether it’s easing pain, recovering from injury or navigating long-term health issues. I’m especially passionate about women’s health. Having my daughter during my schooling gave me a deep and personal understanding of fertility, pregnancy, and postpartum care. Supporting women through every stage of their reproductive journey is one of my greatest joys.

These days, you’ll find me in Portland, where I live with my husband and our bubbly two-year-old. When I’m not in the clinic, I’m usually chasing my toddler through the park, experimenting with herbal recipes in the kitchen, or finding ways to bring more balance (and joy) into daily life.

For me, this medicine is about more than treating symptoms—it’s about helping you feel balanced, resilient, and ready to enjoy life. And if we can laugh a little along the way, even better.
